Florida Association of College and Research Libraries (FACRL) FACRL Fall Program Call for Presentations – 2008 Proving your Worth and Adding Value to your Institution
How can you prove to your institution that the library is a worthy investment? Have you shown the library’s effect on student learning or student retention? How have you managed to expand during tough economic times? How have you integrated your services and expertise into the academic endeavor so that the library is vital to the mission of the institution? Are you proving your worth through effective marketing, grant writing, public relations, integrated services, or research studies? How are you proving your worth to the education mission of your institution?
In these tough economic times, we are interested in bringing
academic librarians together to discuss ways to thrive in an
environment less than conducive to growth and prosperity.
We want to celebrate our vitality!
