McKay Archives Center Dedicated

The Sarah D. and L. Kirk McKay, Jr., Archives Center was dedicated on February 20. The 10,100-square-foot McKay Archives Center, adjacent to the Roux Library, comprises two stories. It will be home to the Ruth K. and Charles T. Thrift, Jr., Florida United Methodist Heritage Center; the Governor Lawton M. Chiles, Jr., Center for Florida History; the Florida Citrus Archives; the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame; and the Florida Southern College Archives and Frank Lloyd Wright collection.

Metadata/Catalog Librarian Joins Roux Library

Rachel Bomberger joined the library team as a Metadata/Catalog Librarian. Her work includes digitizing materials from Frank Lloyd Wright’s time on the FSC campus. Items to be digitized in this Institute of Museum and Library Services funded project include photographs, student newspapers, and personal correspondence.
