Brevard Community College

BCC New Librarians

Dr. Mem Stahley, Academic Dean of Brevard Community College Libraries, is pleased to welcome two new library employees: Mr. Duke Darkwolf, Librarian and Ms. Gina Rippens, Collegewide Interlibrary Loan Specialist.

Mr. Darkwolf comes to BCC from the Dougherty County Public Library in Albany, Georgia, where he worked 2 years as a Reference Librarian. Mr. Darkwolf’s professional background includes a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and six years teaching experience, as well as a Master’s Degree in Library Science. Mr. Darkwolf is assigned to the BCC Palm Bay Campus Library where he will provide reference, collection development, and library instruction services.

Ms. Rippens comes to BCC from the Orange County Public Library in Orlando where she worked the past two years in Circulation. Ms. Rippens’ professional background includes Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in History, as well as 6 years combined library experience, including Circulation and Interlibrary Loan. Ms. Rippens assignment includes Collegewide responsibilities; she is located at the BCC Cocoa Campus Library.

Brevard Community College has libraries at four locations: Cocoa, Melbourne, Palm Bay, and Titusville. Each campus library has its own unique collection, with a combined total of more than 215,000 print volumes, 1,000 periodical subscriptions, and over 40,000 eBook titles.
