Miami-Dade Community College

The MDC/FIU Information Literacy Work Group and MDC College Training and Development presented "Teaching Strategies for Librarian Guest Lecturers in an Electronic Environment". The workshop was held Thursday, September 4 at the Miami-Date College North Campus. Topics covered were adult learning theory, presentation skills, eliciting student feedback, motivating students, teaching strategies, effective PowerPoint use, classroom management and more and was taught by Annmarie Masi. Twenty-two librarians attended the session.
