People: Papers, Publications, and Presentations

Gary Parsons, reference department, addressed the annual meeting of the Indian River County Friends of the Library in Vero Beach, Florida. His topic was the Internet and librarianship (based on his published piece in the local newspaper). His talk was well received and engendered many questions.

Carla Robinson, St. Lucie West campus, had her article, "The Indian River Community College/St. Lucie West Library: A Three-Way Cooperative Library", published in the November/December 1999 issue of Florida Libraries. The article was co-authored by Dr. Rudy Widman, Dean of Learning Resources for Indian River Community College.
